Appraiser's Statement
Dr. Ambler has her Ph.D. in art history from UC Santa Barbara and she is currently an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America and the owner/appraiser of Ambler Appraisals, LLC (http://amblerappraisals.com/). With prior professional experience in academia and the museum world, she worked as an independent contractor at Rago Arts and Auction Center in the Trusts, Estates, and Appraisals Department (2015-2017) and as the Head of Research for The Heller Group, an art advisory in New York City specializing in modern, contemporary, and emerging art where she was responsible for numerous appraisal projects (2017-2020). She is currently the Chief Curator for Loupe, an art streaming service.
