The lecture with Ellery Kurtz, AAA, will discuss the early days of the movement focusing on the Armory Show of 1913, The Paris World's Fair of 1925, Alfred Steiglitz's various galleries and Edith Halpert's Downtown Gallery. Values of similar paintings or even the same painting sold at various times by artists such as John Marin, Georgia O'Keeffe and Marsden Hartley will be included.
