Walitt (opens in a new window)This 3-hour training, led by Joshua Walitt, SRA, AI-RRS, MNAA, CDEI, Walitt Solutions, will delve into the USPAP Record Keeping rule and breakdown each of the components that should be contained in an appraiser’s workfile. Joshua will also review USPAP’s FAQ while helping attendees analyze other situations where these guidelines would apply. This training is geared towards personal property appraisers.

In this course, attendees will:

  • Learn how to create a checklist to ensure that each workfile is correctly assembled.
  • Develop the ability to identify what to retain, when it needs to be retained and why each component is needed in the workfile.
  • Gain a deeper comprehension of how to prevent common record keeping mistakes.
  • Examine real world examples of proper and improper workfiles.

Audience participation is encouraged in this course, so students should have a working microphone and webcam.

This training will be recorded, and attendees will automatically receive the recording. However, it is most beneficial to attend the course in real-time in order to participate.

Appraisers Association members receive 3 Continuing Education Credits.
