Appraiser's Statement

I am a certified AAA appraiser with a specialization in fine art from the 19th century through the present, and received a certificate from NYU in appraisal studies in fine & decorative arts. I was a curator at the University of Michigan Museum of Art in Ann Arbor (1984–92) and the Cantor Arts Center, Stanford University (1993–2014), where I also taught classes in art history and museum studies on occasion. I have published articles and books, and organized exhibitions and authored catalogues on English Romantic and Victorian art, Impressionism, Modernism, and contemporary art. I earned a Ph.D. in the history of art from Yale University. I am an emerita member of the Print Council of America. My certification is in prints and I am also a specialist in Modern & Impressionist Art, and Post-War, Contemporary, and Emerging Art.
