Prior to starting her firm she was a specialist in California and American Paintings, as well as a cataloguer and registrar in the Fine Art Department of Bonhams, San Francisco for 6 years. She holds a MA in Contemporary Art from San Francisco State University as well as a Diploma (MA-equivalent) in Connoisseurship of Fine & Decorative Arts from the Royal Society of Arts and Christie's Education, London.
