Pamela Brown is a certified member of the Appraisers Association of America and a member of the Board of Directors. She has served on the lecture and handbook committees. Pamela is a co-author of American Artists of African Descent, in the new edition of  Appraising Art: The Definitive Guide Volume II. She was awarded a certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts from the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies in 2006. Her professional experience includes 18 years in the appraisal business and over 20 years as co-owner of ArtJaz Gallery a contemporary online fine art gallery.
