Appraiser's Statement
Maria Doiranlis received the Certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts from New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies in the fall of 2014. That same year she also received the Student Award in recognition of Excellence in Appraisal Studies from the Appraisers Association of America. She is an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliant. She has over 15 years experience, having worked at New York art galleries, for a private dealer and at Silent Partner Consulting, where she managed private collections, including cataloguing, and creating and maintaining collection inventory databases. She has assisted clients in executing charitable contributions and loans of fine art, archives, ephemera and photography to major art museums throughout the U.S. and abroad. She holds degrees in Art History with a BA from Columbia College, Columbia University and an MA from University College London.
