Carolyn has two decades of professional experience in the international art market. Prior to launching Pastel Advisory in 2017, Carolyn was a Senior Specialist at Christie's for over 12 years and consulted for Sotheby's. She is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America in 20th Century Decorative Arts and Design and Postwar, Contemporary and Emerging Art (Accredited). She provides appraisals for private, corporate, and institutional clients for insurance, fair market value, tax, charitable donation, and estate purposes. Services include onsite examination, objective and unbiased market analyses, and carefully researched and documented certified appraisal reports that conform to the professional guidelines of the Internal Revenue Service and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Report (USPAP).
