Alicia B. Thomas is the principal of A. B. Thomas Appraisals, an affiliate company of Nail-to-Nail, LLC located in Palm Springs, California. Since 2020 Alicia has been conducting appraisals on 19th and 20th c. American paintings, drawings, sculptures, and decorative arts as well as antiques, collectibles and general household goods. Within the broader American art market, she specializes in Arts & Crafts and California Impressionist paintings. Alicia also conducts market research for several appraisal businesses. 

In addition to appraisals, Alicia continues to provide museum consulting, project management, collections care, and fine arts services. She specializes in collections stewardship, museum best practices & exhibitions management, which she acquired from 30+ years of employment in the museum industry working at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC; the Smithsonian's National Museum of Asian Art, Washington, DC; the J.
