Appraiser's Statement

I have more than 20 years of experience in Rare and Antiquarian Printed Books. As a founding bookseller at Bauman Rare Books, one of the most prestigious rare book dealers in the world, I have personally handled the most important and interesting books since the dawn of the printed word.

My specialties include African-American books and ephemera, children's books, modern first editions, natural history and illustrated books of all genres. 

In addition, I have great familiarity with art and photography books, English and American history and American literature (pre 1900).
