Tema McMillon is an independent appraiser and advisor with over 10 years of experience valuing fine and decorative arts. She provides USPAP compliant appraisals for insurance scheduling, damage and loss claims, estate planning, equitable distribution and collection management purposes. Tema’s experience includes several years at Chubb insurance company as a Fine Art & Collections Specialist and has also held appraisal positions at an art investment firm, an art advisory and contents management firm. In addition to appraising, Tema enjoys consulting with clients on best practices for collections management and provides services such as inventories and disaster plans. Tema holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Graduate Certificate in Appraisal Studies from New York University.
