Appraiser's Statement

I specialize in providing appraisals and consultations for a wide range of pianos and keyboard instruments, including all types of vertical and grand pianos - modern and historical - from all manufacturers, including Steinway, Bechstein, Bosendorfer, and Yamaha. I have provided these services for private owners, collectors, law firms, and insurance companies since 1979 and have been a member of AAA since 1993. I have recently completed the required USPAP course. As the owner of New York Piano Center, Inc., I also provide both in-home and in-shop services such as piano tuning, repairs, restoration, refinishing, moving pianos, voicing and action regulation. My previous clients include Sotheby's, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum, Metropolitan Opera, Kaufman Astoria Studios, New York University, New School, Fordham University, Chubb, Liberty Mutual, Fireman's Fund.
